We must open ourselves to the reality that humanity is in the midst of a civilization-changing emergency that will produce a never-before seen scale and scope of individual and collective trauma. What does that mean as you venture out into the world to do your important mission and humanitarian work? How will you make sure that you fully understand the needs of the people you meet? How will you set healthy boundaries that keep you from absorbing too much of the trauma you will surely encounter? How can you navigate cultural and generational differences?
